Tsume x Human!Reader-Accepting Part 1

You were sitting next to the giant tree that took root in the city. It was usually where Tsume and the rest of the gang met. You were the only girl in the group, so naturally you were admired by the rest of the gang, save for Tsume. Although everyone backed off, assuming you automatically belonged to Tsume.

You huffed in annoyance. "When is that slow poke gonna get his ass over here?!"

You heard a light thump a few feet away. You looked over seeing Tsume jump from, who knows where, and land perfectly on his feet with his hands in his pockets.

You stood up and jogged over to him. "Hey we found a big dog under the tree. You wanna take a look?"

He didn't respond, he just walked over. Seeing the big white 'dog' under the tree he turned around. "Get him out."

You sat away from the tree, next to where Tsume was standing, so you didn't get hurt if the 'dog' woke up and didn't like its surroundings.

You looked over at Tsume, trying to read his expression. "Hey Tsume. Is that actually a dog? I mean, it could be a wolf. Right?"

He seemed to tense up a bit at that comment. "No. It's definitely a dog."

You sighed and shrugged. "If you say so, Mr.Boss."

A few moments after your comment the 'dog' woke up. It trashed around and killed a few of the men around him.

You shot up from your feet, you were staring at the 'dog'. You slowly stepped toward it. It was staying still and growling.

All the men backed up, but you kept stepping forward softly. The 'dog' growled at you again.

You were a few feet away from the 'dog' now. One of the men yelled at you. "Get back (y/n), it'll attack you!"

You shook your head, staring at its leg, which was cut open and bleeding. You whispered quietly. "You're hurt. Wolf?"

You held out your arms to the 'dog', it seemed to calm down slightly, and it stopped growling at you. You were now a few steps away from touching the 'dog'.

You reached out to graze your finger along its fur. "I won't hurt you." You whispered softly, as not to alarm it.

You knelt down in front of the 'dog', so your face was level with its head. You could see alarm in its eyes.

All if the gang members stared at you in astonishment, not really comprehending what they were seeing.

Tsume was watching intently, knowing you would either be killed soon, or you would run off in fear. Either way he would be able to talk to the wolf later.

You leaned forward, so your face was in its neck fur, you wrapped your arms around its shoulders. "See, I won't hurt you. But you're hurt, can I help your leg?" You whispered into its fur.

Tsume was shell-shocked. You, (y/n) (l/n), a human, had just hugged a wolf. A. Wolf. He growled. "(y/n) what do you think you're doing, get away from it, now."

You turned your gaze from the animal you still thought was a 'dog'. "Why? Its hurt, I plan on helping it."

The white 'dog' growled at Tsume. You patted its fur gently. "It's ok, he's just a bum. Now I'm going to help your leg alright?"

You turned to the men next to you. "Anyone have some bandages or gauze?"

One of the men tossed you a roll of gauze. "Here."

You smiled at them gratefully. "Thank you."

You turned back to the wolf, crawling to its injured leg. It stared at you as you began to wrap the gauze around the wound. When you finished wrapping it you pulled a bobby pin from yoru (h/c) hair and used it to hook the gauze.

You smiled and patted its back gently. "There we go."

You felt the wolf growl again, you turned your head to the side, seeing Tsume start to leave. The wolf poised itself in a crouching position, then sprung off after Tsume, who had started to run away.

They hadn't noticed, but you ran after them, concerned not only for the injured white 'dog', but also for Tsume. For you had seen the 'dog' kill a few of the gang members.

You heard growling and the scraping of claws, and what you thought was an occasional flesh tearing. You peered from the steps that led up to a flat roof area.

What you saw, startled you. There was a silver 'dog' and the white 'dog' you had just helped.

You then heard yelling, the little red dreadlock kid that was part of your gang came running, swinging at the white 'dog'.

You saw the silver 'dog' turn into Tsume before red dreadlocks got there.

You gasped, putting a hand over your mouth, then following where you thought the white 'dog' ran off to.

You walked through a few alleyways, coming to the main market street. You saw the white 'dog' limp through the streets.

You were about to run up when you saw a blue-gray dog bark at the white 'dog'. A man holding a rifle came running. When he saw the white 'dog' he aimed his rifle.

People moved out of the way in fear. You ran out, about to yell at the man to stop, but he already shot the white 'dog'.

You tackled the rifle from the man's hands, running to the white 'dog' that had limped away into an alleyway.

You ran down the alley, hoping to find the 'dog'. "Where are you?"

You saw a glimpse of white fur behind a pile of boxes. You sighed in relief. "You're okay. Can you come out, please?"

You saw the white 'dog's' head poke out from the boxes. You smiled and walked over, taking out the gauze you had kept in your pocket.

The white 'dog' whined slightly at you. You smiled gently at him, well you supposed it was a him. "You're a wolf aren't you? Like Tsume? Now let me see your wounds, I don't really care whether you're able to turn into a human like Tsume."

The wolf seemed taken aback, because it growled. You sighed and closed your eyes. "That doesn't mean I'm going to hurt you. Now come here, you're bleeding."

He stopped growling and let you come closer to him. You saw the bullet had barely grazed the spot you had just patched up, but the gauze that was there in the first place was gone.

You slapped your head. "Ah! It must have fallen off when you were fighting with Tsume!"

You re-wrapped the wound, pinning the gauze with another bobby pin. "There, that should do it. Hey, wolf. You could stay with me at my home. But I don't know if you want to."

You stood up, patting dust off your pants. "Follow me if you want to. We'll go through the streets, but the man won't bother trying to shoot you if I say you're my dog."

The wolf seemed to understand, getting up and following you as you walked away.

You smiled at the wolf. "Geez, I still don't know what to call you."

A voice then sounded through your mind. Call me Kiba.

You stared at the wolf, stopping in your tracks. "Kiba... You just... Spoke through my mind?"

Kiba bobbed his head slightly. You smiled. "Than I guess I can have you around, since I can communicate with you!"

You kept walking down the streets, getting a few odd stares from passerbys as you walked with the limping Kiba at your side.

You saw your small house at the top of a hill coming up. "We're almost there Kiba."

You opened the door excitedly, leaving it open for Kiba. You ran to your kitchen and foraged your fridge for something Kiba might like.

You found some unused raw beef. You poked your head from the side of your fridge, seeing Kiba laying in the middle of your living room. "Hey Kiba, you want some beef?"

His head perked up as he looked over at you. You giggled, grabbing the meat from the fridge. "I take that as a yes then."

You put the meat onto a plate then put the plate down so Kiba could eat it.

You turned around, washed your hands, and went to your bed room. "Kiba, I'm sleeping in here. You can sleep in the living room or in here too."

You climbed into bed. A few moments later you felt a weight on the bed by your feet. You smiled and drifted into sleep.
